Day 9

When a person sleeps, his conscious mind rests while his subconscious mind continues to function in order to keep the body’s organs working. But the conscious and the subconscious are in a closed-circuit relationship, so whatever the conscious mind was working on prior to his falling asleep will be transmitted to the subconscious mind..
If we are wrestling with a problem just before we go to sleep our subconscious mind will work on the same where as if we meditate on the Word of God, our subconscious mind will work on the Word while we sleep..
When you meditate (reflect, think, ponder, consider, focus, delight) on the Word of God by day & by night, you will wake up in the morning having reasons to praise God..!
When you walk, their counsel will lead you. When you sleep, they will protect you. When you wake up, they will advise you. (Proverbs 6:22)
When we meditate on God, with God, the One our soul loves meditates for us & through us, showing us glimpses of Himself we never would have seen on our own..
Through His Word He reveals Himself. We see Him in radiant glory, hear from Him in infinite wisdom, taste Him in His unique ability to satisfy the human soul..
Think over these things I am saying [understand them and grasp their application], for the Lord will grant you full insight and understanding in everything. (2 Timothy 2:7)
These persons are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. (Psalm 1:3)
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.…..” (Joshua 1:8‬)
