Day 8

Some of the most remarkable people in the Bible are the strong women in God’s salvation plan..
The biblical woman is,
– A gospel-centered woman. She is created, redeemed, blessed, and gifted to be a blessing to those around her.
– She is diligent, has a keen sense for business matters, is compassionate, is prepared for the future, is a good teacher, is dedicated to her family and above all else possesses the primary characteristic of biblical wisdom, the fear of the Lord. Her virtue shows as she shuns sinfulness.
– A virtuous woman goes in the strength of the Lord and faithfully completes whatever task He has for her to do.
– A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face, but a woman of strength wears grace. A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey, but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey of surrender to God that she will become strong.
– She can be commended for all the wonderful things she does but what is most important about her is that she fears the Lord. She lives her entire life out of a desire to honor and serve the Lord. This fear makes her wise about all the decisions and the choices she makes because she has made God first in her life.
Be courageous like Esther; equal to a man like Priscilla; trustworthy like Phoebe; & most importantly faithful like Mary…!
Do not let anything or anyone pull you away from your faith..
Embrace life’s many stages & let GOD have HIS way, growing you into the woman you have been destined to be – set the example of how a woman could serve & be a source of hope, be strong in GOD, & shine with HIS light & HIS glory..
She looks over a field and buys it, then, with money she’s put aside, plants a garden. First thing in the morning, she dresses for work, rolls up her sleeves, eager to get started. She senses the worth of her work, is in no hurry to call it quits for the day. (Proverbs 31:16-18)
“Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades. The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God.….” (Proverbs 31:30)
