Day 7

Hope is the confident expectation and longing for God’s promised blessings and its strength is in His faithfulness..!
It is the power by which we desire the Kingdom of Heaven as our happiness, placing our trust in the promises Christ gave us..
– Hope because God hears you.
The Christian hopes in the assured presence of God who hears when they call. God’s continual presence is a living stream that pours into the life of the believer. This gives us hope because we are never alone.
– Hope because God has mercy on you.
God has extended His mercy to those who put their faith in Christ, pouring out His just wrath on His Son, instead of on us. We have reason to hope because God has offered us forgiveness in Christ and, therefore, has declared us righteous.
– Hope because God speaks to you.
God’s living and active Word is a miracle! You do not need to wait to hear from Him during turbulent times because all you need is to open your Bible. God has provided a means for you to know the truth and to be sanctified by it.
Christians do not travel this life alone without any resources to strengthen their fight; the Word is the sword of the Spirit. Hope because God gives you all you need to live wisely, to be nourished, and to be equipped right here and right now.
– Hope Demonstrates Trust in God Forever.
To hope in the Bible is to firmly place your trust in what God says. It’s not an, “oh, I hope so,” but rather, “I hope because He said so.”
– Hope Isn’t a Gamble.
Hope in the New Testament means looking to the future with assurance. Because we know Jesus, we know we have hope.
– Hope is Never Lost.
Sometimes it’s difficult to see hope in a situation. But, the Bible says that true hope is unseen. And if we can be hopeful for one thing, such as our salvation, which is also unseen, then we can be hopeful for other things too. It’s just that simple!
– True Hope comes from God.
Sometimes we hope for things in which there is no hope. A car can’t bring true hope; it can bring a feeling of contentment and exhilaration, but not real hope. Financial stability can’t bring true hope; it can bring security and a level of ease, but not true hope. A spouse can’t bring true hope because a spouse’s abilities are limited to what he or she can control. True hope comes from the One who created hope: God. True hope comes by trusting God even when circumstances are difficult. One way to know whether you’re trusting God is whether you’re obeying his Word. Trust produces obedience, which produces hope, which results in joy and peace; and that is the power of the Holy Spirit.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit…..” (Romans 15:13)
