Day 6

Many of the battles we are worrying about are things that have not happened and that God never intended for our lives.
Therefore, we must begin to adopt a mindset to seek GOD first – before being tempted to make our own decisions..
Seek the Spirit of God through connecting with the Word of God! Simply, talk to God and ask Him to show you His will and read your Bible. God will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER ask you to make a decision that goes against His Word..
Praying about decisions we need to make doesn’t mean we stop thinking about them—not at all. In fact, we should be asking God to help us understand our choices more clearly, and to decide which is best..
After all, we see only part of the picture—but God sees it all. In other words, we may think we have all the facts we need to make a decision, but we don’t—not completely. We also may be swayed by our emotions, or unwise motives, or what others want us to do—and not even be aware of it. Why not seek God’s guidance instead?..
God’s way is always best—and the reason is because He loves us and wants what is best for us..
God has not left us to muddle through life on our own! He wants to guide us—and He will, as we turn in faith to Him and seek His will..
Don’t let your pride, or anything else, keep you from seeking God’s will for your life. Instead, face honestly your need for His forgiveness and help, and by faith humbly open your heart and life to Jesus Christ..
When you ask God to help you make the best decision under the circumstances, you have to surrender, step out in faith and decide. You make what you think is the best choice knowing that if you make a mistake, God is beside you and will help you redeem the consequences and work it all for your good. (Romans 8:28)
Trusting that God redeems your mistakes because you involved Him will encourage you and others to live out in faith and not in fear..
Be a courageous decision-maker and you will not become confused, discouraged, and struggle to live out your identity in Christ..
“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God!…….” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
