Day 6

One of the best ways to keep growing as a person is by focusing on renewing your mind and improving yourself..
Be so busy in improving yourself that you have no time to criticise or compete with another always competing with yourself to raise your standard..
There are people who are 50 years old who haven’t truly lived 50 years. Instead, they’ve lived one year 50 times. They make the same mistakes over and over again because they never stop and extract the lessons. They never ask, “What happened in this last year? What can I do differently so that I can live life better going forward?”..
The process of becoming like Christ is a journey that will last a lifetime!..
Every day God wants you to become a little more like Him..
Today people are obsessed with speed. You might want the quick fix, the shortcut, the on-the-spot solution. Maybe you’re looking for a sermon, a seminar, or an experience that will instantly resolve all problems, remove all temptation, and release you from all growing pains..
But God is more interested in strength and stability than swiftness..
Real maturity is never the result of a single experience, no matter how powerful or moving. Growth is gradual..
Your habits define your character..
There’s just one way to develop the habits of Christ-like character: You have to practice them, over and over, until they become part of your identity and yes, the Lord is at your service to help you with it..
But over time, you—and the people around you—will see the difference..
“Practice these things. Devote your life to them so that everyone can see your progress……” (1 Timothy 4:15)
