Resting allows us to quiet ourselves before the presence of God..
Resting on Him means thinking about His goodness and all the ways it’s manifested in the world and in our life..
It means being mindful in order to experience and appreciate the world around us, and our immediate environment..
When we become mindful, we become aware of all the things for which we have to be grateful..
Imagine how grateful we would be if we took time every day to rest our minds and reflect on God’s goodness..
Think of how rich we would feel if we carved out time to be mindful of our blessings..
Remember that when you ‘rest’ you are truly TRUSTING GOD..!
