As we celebrate Pentecost, we celebrate the power & fire of the Holy Spirit..!
The Holy Spirit presents us with an opportunity to consider how we live each day, & offers us an opportunity to repent, confess our failure to live by the Spirit & to ask the Lord to fill us afresh with His power..
We must experience fresh fillings of the Spirit all the way through our Christian experience, for only then can we live joyfully, serve powerfully, and glorify God in all that we think, do and say..
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you..
“‘However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you]…..”(John 16:7)
