Day 5

Short cuts will never take you anywhere worth going..
Shortcuts have consequences. Shortcuts are dangerous. Abraham and Sarah found out the hard way that taking shortcuts will only get us into trouble (Genesis 16)..
Shortcuts lead to poverty.
Proverbs 21:5 Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty..
Shortcuts lead to mistakes.
Proverbs 19:2 Furthermore, it isn’t good to be ignorant, and whoever rushes into things misses the mark..
Shortcuts may seem profitable in the short term, but they will never gets us anywhere in the long term. Better to do things God’s way!
Psalm 37:7 Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes..
The diligent will prosper. Take the time to learn, hone your skill, and shine!
Proverbs 22:29, Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings..
Don’t look for shortcuts to God.
Matthew 7:13 Don’t look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don’t fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do..
Don’t take shortcuts!
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you..
You must be willing to pay the price to cross the finishing line as far as God’s will and purposes for you are concerned..!
Do not doubt what has been destined for you – God is faithful to deliver..!!
“I will run the way of Your commandments with purpose, For You will give me a heart that is willing.…..”(Psalm 119:32)
