Day 30

Samuel began his ministry at a young age. However, he became essential as God’s servant to Israel through a long life in bridging the generations between the Judges and the Kings. During that whole time, God was with Samuel and empowered his ministry. God empowered Samuel’s words, making them accurate, compelling, and convicting. Let’s pray that God does the same with his spokespeople today. And we need to be on the lookout for young emerging Samuels and Deborahs in Jesus’ family today and encourage them! May God use his servants effectively all their lives and not let any of their words fall to the ground. “The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of [Samuel’s] words fall to the ground.” 1 Samuel 3:19.
