Day 3

Faith is to reborn believers what finding second wind is to marathon (long distance) runners..
Second wind means new strength or energy to continue something that is an effort..
Instead of quitting the race at the first sign of fatigue (extreme tiredness), marathoners keep running until new energy enables them to maintain the same pace with more comfort & less distress..
In the same way being born again means rejecting your old life and being born again to a new life (spiritual rebirth) when you accept Jesus as your Lord, God and Saviour and believe what He accomplished for you on the cross. It is a new journey, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His Father through the Holy Spirit..
We respond to God’s offer of forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ, confess our sins, and invite Jesus Christ into our lives to be our leader and Lord. And when Jesus truly comes in, His Holy Spirit fills us and changes us..
Consider the benefits of being born again. Of coming to Christ for salvation..
Right relationship with God: Justified
The answer to our deepest needs: Peace
The privilege of direct access to the presence of God.
The confidence of a secure future with Christ: Hope
How can you have all these benefits? Come to Jesus by faith. Accept the finished work of Christ on Calvary as the atonement for your sin and be born again! Christian, are you enjoying all your benefits today? They are here for every child of God to enjoy. Peace, Access, and Hope all because we are Justified by faith..
“Celebrate with praises the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has shown us His extravagant mercy. For His fountain of mercy has given us a new life—we are reborn to experience a living, energetic hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.…..”(1 Peter 1:3‬)
