Day 27

In a volatile (unstable) world where relationships break down, stock markets crumble, policies and opinions change, and friends betray, God’s Word is the only stable foundation that does not shift with time or circumstance..
He does not crack under pressure, and His promises are ever true..
Scripture is filled with God’s promises to provide rest when we seek Him..
God is an endless source of peace & strength & He created us to need Him..
Spiritual rest allows our mind, body & soul to renew & start with even more strength & focus..
When you and I take the stand to seek God first – His kingdom and His righteousness – a divine exchange takes place..
He replaces the heaviness of a worldly yoke ladened with striving and surviving with His spiritual rest..
SPIRITUAL REST is the capacity to experience God in all things and recline in the knowledge of the divine..
“God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God. So God set another time for entering His rest, and that time is today……..So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God……Let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. ….”(Hebrews‬ ‭4:6-7, 9,11‬)
