Day 26

Forgiveness will liberate you..!
It will set you free to focus on the things in your life that truly matter rather than carrying the extra baggage of unforgiveness everywhere with you..
Lay it down at the feet of Jesus..
We all appreciate being forgiven, but forgiving those who have wounded us, seems an alien (strange) thing to do..
While it may seem forgiving someone is to their advantage, you really are the one who benefits most..
When you choose to forgive, you are actually giving yourself a gift, as suppressed anger breeds bitterness which results in depression, sickness and affliction..!
Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and unfailing love,
which You have shown from long ages past.
Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth.
Remember me in the light of Your unfailing love,
for You are merciful, O Lord..
When we do not want God to remember our faults, weaknesses and sins, let us extend the same to our fellow brethren who have come against us..
“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others….”(Colossians 3:13)
