Day 24

Success can look like a variety of things, depending on who you ask..
For some its fame. For some its fortune. For others it may be recognition. Still, others may define their success by their level of education or intelligence, their career or business, their talents or skill set, or even their beauty or sense of fashion. In our modern age of social media, many measure their success by how many followers, likes, or subscribers they have..
Attaining everything you want in life, in the absence of a relationship with God is NOT true success..
We are so quick to look at everyone in the world around us, and be jealous of what they have. But, the truth is, if they don’t have a relationship with God, at best they will enjoy a brief period of happiness in this world which pales in comparison to eternity..
Where is the profit in being “successful” in every area of life except in the area where it matters most?..
We chase success in all the other areas of our lives, while spiritual growth, our relationship with God, holds little to no priority for us at all..
When we put God first, and seek to be successful in the area of our spiritual growth, it’s amazing what success we will begin to see in other areas of our lives as well..
As a Christian, the “smart” way to achieve success is by working with God..
Joshua, Joseph, David in the Bible were successful in everything they did because the Lord was them..
The fact that we have God’s love, strength, provision, peace, and protection is a huge success!..
The Bible teaches us that we must include God in our planning, so it only makes sense that we talk to Him in regards to the areas in which we want to be successful. (Psalm 37:5)
Regardless of your ethnicity, gender, background, profession, education level, social status, bank account balance, or where you live, as a Christian, God wants you to be successful in Him..
Seek God first and foremost, learn and obey His Word, commit your goals to Him, include Him in everything you do, and He will bless you and give you success spiritually, and in all other aspects of your life as well..
Don’t ever let success take you away from God. Always honor Him with everything He blesses you with..
“If you start thinking to yourselves, “I did all this. And all by myself. I’m rich. It’s all mine!”—well, think again. Remember that God, your God, gave you the strength to produce all this wealth so as to confirm the covenant that He promised to your ancestors—as it is today…….” (Deuteronomy 8:17-18)
