Day 24

Testing is the process, & testimony is the fulfillment of the promise..!
You cannot have the promise without the process..
Sometimes GOD tests you because He is going to bless you so much & He doesn’t want you to get arrogant ; He wants to humble you..
So God tests you..
What is testing?..
The Greek word translated as “test” in the New Testament is dokimazo. It means to “put to the test, prove, examine, to approve.”..
Passing a test is a joyous occasion where we emerge approved..
We fear to be tested because we fear a negative outcome, and/or are afraid of why God is doing the testing..
The objective of testing is to discover the truth..
God is love and wants us to succeed. When He tests us, He wants to see if our faith in Him is real. If we fall short, He takes pleasure in teaching us so we can pass the next time. When our faith proves genuine, He rewards us..
In the spiritual battle: both the one true God, the Father of Jesus Christ, and the false god of this age, satan, tests us..
The difference is in their motives and in the types of tests they give. Satan tests us by tempting us to disobey God’s Word..
One place we can see this is in his temptations of Jesus in the wilderness. But Jesus Christ overcame these temptations as well as all the others satan threw at Him, and that is why He can now help us do likewise..
How do we do so? By willingly taking the tests that God gives us..
How does God test us? Simply by asking us to trust Him and “wholeheartedly obey the form of teaching to which we were entrusted”.. (Romans 6:17)
It is only by taking the tests God gives us, for which He has already given the instructions in His Word how to face them and also through the example of Jesus, that we can successfully handle satan’s tests which come suddenly..
“We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We often don’t know what to do, but we don’t give up. We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed.…”(2 Corinthians 4:8-9‬)
