Day 21

The Word of God is like seed scattered by a sower..
The same seed yields very different results – In some lives, the seed is snatched away by no understanding. In some lives offence takes away the seed. In other lives the seed gets choked by the cares and worries of this life and riches, pleasures and desires for other things of this world. Still, in others, the seed produces a bumper harvest depending on how richly the Word dwells in them..!
Everyone receives seed; the Word of God. Everyone has potential for the harvest; living a fruitful life, but the ones who produce the most fruit are the ones most yielded to cultivation, to being changed and prepared for planting..
How ready am I to be changed and prepared for planting the seed in me?..
Can I be “cultivated” in my life? How correctable am I? How quickly do I repent? Can I self-correct? The greater my yielding to God’s cultivation the greater the capacity of my fruitfulness in life..
“Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear!….” (James‬ ‭1:22‬)
