Day 21

GOD is real, no matter how you feel..!
Even when we feel distant from God, God is never far from us..
Circumstances are not always pleasant but the deepest level of worship is praising God in spite of pain, thanking God during a trial, trusting Him when tempted, and loving Him when He ‘seems’ distant..
Remember these truths:
1. God is close to the broken-hearted.
“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
2. God promises to never fail or forsake you.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Therefore, when it feels like God is far away and you’re feeling vulnerable and alone, God is actually right there with you, protecting you and keeping you safe in the midst of what you‘re going through. He will not leave you to face difficult times on your own—that is His promise to each of us..
3. God is working behind the scenes.
Sometimes, you might feel God is far away because you don’t see a change in your situation or an answer to prayers. In such times, God is actually behind the scenes, working in your circumstances..
4. God makes a clear declaration that He is with you.
When thoughts and emotions arise that God is far away, let His Word assure you that He is always with you and that you should not fear or be dismayed..
5. God has been with you in the past.
Remind yourself that what He has done in the past He will do again; for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)
“God, You’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble—more than enough and always available whenever I need you.….”(Psalm 46:1‬)
