Day 20

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know [God’s] incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead… —Ephesians 1:17-20.

We believe in the promises of the Spirit’s power “to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” We have experienced this resurrection power through the Spirit’s work, enabling ministry through us, helping us love others in challenging situations, comforting us when we are broken, giving us insight when we study the Word, and strengthening us in the face of temptation. We are humbled, thrilled, and left longing for more when we experience the Spirit’s work in those ways. We want others to experience this tremendous power who have not. We know that Paul’s process was to pray for people to experience this power and let them know he prayed for them. So, that is what we do. We invite you to join us as we pray, thousands worldwide. Let’s pray for God to enable those closest to us who believe to discover this power and do great things through the Holy Spirit working in and through them.
