The biblical view of marriage is of a God-given, public social union of one man & one woman, for the purpose of God in them serving others through their covenant..!
The root of marriage is not about our feelings – which is fickle – but about keeping a promise..
Marriage is a covenant to which God is Witness..!!
Satan loves to remind God’s children of their marriage mess-ups, their parenting blunders & their prideful actions of the past..
The blood of Jesus does not give you amnesia (loss of memory), but what it does give you is a life beyond your past..!
You can keep trying to pay for those yourself, but the reality is, you can never really undo the past..
You can only learn from it, truly repent, & accept God’s grace to move beyond it..
It is only God’s grace that erases our past; & it is God’s grace that will remake our future..!
