Day 19

Success is a cumulative process – it is not a one time event..!
Worldly thoughts of success usually include money, influence, or fame – but this incorrect definition of success will hinder your influence for God, so beware, satan uses these wrong meanings of success along with the tools of doubt, fear, confusion, and unbelief to make you ‘throw in the towel’ (accept defeat, give up) because you “feel like a failure”..
The proper definition of success takes the “failure stick” away from satan..
Success is the relentless obedience to the Word and Will of God..
Success is using the resources God has provided you to fulfill the assignment God has for you on planet earth..!
Success is a journey, not a destination and it is an ongoing action..
In the eyes of the world you may look like a loser but in the eyes of God you win because of your good heart condition..
Success isn’t measured in a moment, it is measured over a lifetime – you can lose innings and still win the game..!
The world defines success mainly by measuring the amount of wealth, power, and popularity a person obtains in this world..
Picture two hands..
In the right hand there are the offer of true contentment, the ability to handle life’s problems without being overcome by them, amazing peace that sees us through all circumstances, wisdom to know what to do, knowledge and constant direction for life, love for others, acceptance of ourselves, joy no matter what, and, at the end of life, an eternity with the God who freely gives all these gifts..
The other hand holds all the money and power and “success” the world has to offer, without any of what the right hand holds..
Which would you choose?..
The Bible says, “Where your treasure is, there also is your heart” (Matthew 6:21)..
That which is in the right hand is the biblical definition of success..
“He has success in store for the upright, is the shield of those who walk honestly,.. …..”(Proverbs 2:7‬)
