Day 16

Humbling oneself before the Lord enables the grace of God to flow freely into our hearts and breathes spiritual revival into our souls. We are expected to have clean hands, a pure heart, be people who hate evil and grieve over sin (come to Jesus, repent and by His Grace, break the power of habitual sin) and live righteously before God. This verse presents us with a beautiful conditional promise, “Humble yourselves before the Lord and HE WILL EXALT YOU.” Humility is a fruit of the spirit that should be exhibited in each of us who live The Godly life of Jesus Christ. “Humble yourselves before the Lord and He will exalt you” James 4:10.
