When thoughts swirl (keep spinning around) in our head we often make the mistake of treating them like facts..
What we think isn’t always accurate – that’s when we should line it up against God’s Word and take them captive..
The better you know the Bible the easier this process becomes..
Put a Bible verse/s according to your situation in front of you. Look at it, speak it, memorise it, think about it as many times as you need every day to take your thoughts captive..
Record the verse, play it on repeat and speak it as you hear it being played..
Replace your negative self-talk with the affirmations from God’s Word/God Himself..
The power of God is stronger than ANYTHING and when you use His weapon to fight back those negative thoughts, you will win!..
Biblical affirmations are the use of Scripture to take our thoughts captive to obey Christ..
This means turning around the lies of the enemy, satan, and replacing it with the truth of God’s Word..
