Boasting is showing pride and glorifying yourself. It takes the glory away from the Lord. If you want to glorify someone, then let it be God to encourage others..
Be careful not to boast when giving testimonies. All the good that is in your life is from God. Praise His name..
This is what the LORD says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches..
