Day 10

To be “In Christ” means,
– We have accepted Jesus as our Lord, God and Saviour (Romans 10:9)
– We believe He died our death in our place, as our substitute on the cross (Romans 5:8)
– We believe that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross paid for all our sins past, present & future (Colossians 2:13-14)
– We believe that in our baptism we died with Him, were buried with Him and were raised to life with Him in the newness of life (Romans 6:4)
– We believe we are new creations in Christ living through Him, with Him and in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17)
A Divine Exchange takes place at the foot of the cross: our old sin nature for His perfect one..!
The Bible says that in our natural sinful state we are enemies of God..
No amount of self-cleansing can make us pure enough to warrant forgiveness and a relationship with a holy God..
But when we accept Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf, He switches accounts with us. He exchanges our list of sins for His perfect account that is totally pleasing to God..
To enter the presence of a holy God, we must be hidden in the righteousness of Christ..
To be “In Christ” means that God no longer sees our imperfections; He sees us through the lens of the righteousness of His own Son..
Only “In Christ” is our sin debt cancelled, our relationship with God restored, and our eternity secured..
To receive all this all you got to do is just BELIEVE.. Is that too hard ??? You’re inheriting a treasure leading you to eternity in heaven..
““I speak to you an eternal truth: if you embrace My message and believe in the One who sent Me, you will never face condemnation. In Me, you have already passed from the realm of death into eternal life!”…”(John 5:24‬)
