Day 1

Who you become, while you are “waiting” is as important as what you are waiting for..!
Waiting on the Lord builds trust. We trust that He is working in ways that we cannot see.
We know that His ways are always higher; His plans are always good..
Patience is learned through waiting & increases tolerance & empathy (compassion)..
It also allows us to have more space for gratitude..
During the waiting period:
– We must cling to the promises in God’s Word – Psalm 130:5
– God is with us in our waiting – Exodus 33:14
– We will look more like Jesus after this waiting – Philippians 1:6
– God’s plans are better than ours – Jeremiah 29:11
– We can trust God to provide for us – Philippians 4:19
“But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired..…..” (Isaiah 40:31)
