Who you become, while you are “waiting” is as important as what you are waiting for..!
Waiting on the Lord builds trust. We trust that He is working in ways that we cannot see.
We know that His ways are always higher; His plans are always good..
Patience is learned through waiting & increases tolerance & empathy (compassion)..
It also allows us to have more space for gratitude..
During the waiting period:
– We must cling to the promises in God’s Word – Psalm 130:5
– God is with us in our waiting – Exodus 33:14
– We will look more like Jesus after this waiting – Philippians 1:6
– God’s plans are better than ours – Jeremiah 29:11
– We can trust God to provide for us – Philippians 4:19
