We don’t need to be physically on our own to feel lonely. Many of us may have experienced some of our loneliest times when we were literally surrounded by others..
At some point in our lives, everyone feels alone or experiences loneliness..
You may be physically alone or even surrounded with people, but you never have to be lonely – GOD is always with you..!
We often ask Him questions to things He’s already told us the answer to in His Word..
“God? Are you there?”
“Yes, I’m right here.”
“God, I feel lonely.”
“You might feel lonely, but you’re not alone.”
“God, you won’t leave me right?
“Sweetheart, I’ve already told you, and put it in writing in my Word just to assure you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.” “I LOVE YOU. Would I have sent My Son Jesus to die for you if I didn’t?”
How often do we just need God’s assurance, as our Good Father, that He is there, and that we are not alone?
If you feel alone or lonely, remember God’s assurances today..
Remember God doesn’t change and doesn’t lie, so you can trust Him to do as He has said He would..
The God Who made the mountains and oceans is with you. The Creator of the sunset desires a real relationship with you. Think about that for awhile — not only are you not alone, but you have the God of the universe by your side! In any difficult moment, you can be confident knowing God is with you, He is for you, and He wants what is best for you..
God is big enough to care about the big issues in our lives. Even more, He is also big enough to care about every small problem in our lives as well. Whether loneliness is a big or a little part of your life, God wants to carry that burden for you..
Jesus came to earth and lived like we lived. He went through many of the same experiences & feelings we’ve had. He was publicly rejected and abandoned by His friends. Jesus has been alone. He knows what you are going through, and He is with you in every moment, ready to comfort you..
God is with you always. In fact, He wanted to be so close to us that Jesus came to earth to dwell with us. He then sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in our hearts. This shows how much He desires a relationship with you!
“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you”……”(Joshua 1:5)
