1. Growth Matters
Growth doesn’t just happen. It requires intentionality (being deliberate or purposeful) and investment in the calling God has for you (Philippians 3:12-15)
2. People Matter
Value relationships and express appreciation for others (Romans 1:8)
He expected the best of people and helped them think more highly of themselves. He gave people hope, and he shared himself with others. Paul demonstrated up to the very end of his life that people matter..
3. Obedience Matters
Paul was faithful to God’s call. What mattered most was that he finish the ministry/calling he had received from the Lord..
Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it..
Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how He did it. Because He never lost sight of where He was headed—that exhilarating (exciting) finish in and with God..
