The Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. — 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
It’s amazing to me how Satan knows our personal weaknesses and vulnerabilities—those sins that can especially wound and disable us from the work of Christ Jesus. It’s amazing to me how knows how best to tempt us. We know, dear Father, that we need to commit our hearts and ask you to protect us, your families, and one another. We’re going to commit to silently supporting each other in prayer daily, believing our verse for today. We will pray that both we and those we care about, will be strengthened “with power through his Spirit in our inner being” (Ephesians 3:14-16). in your inner being. Pray that you all can be delivered from the insidious and besetting attacks and temptations from the evil one. As Paul prayed for the Thessalonians:
May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24).
