“When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the alien, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.” – Deuteronomy 24:19.

God set aside ways for his people to help the poor, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow. So, at this time of the year when many of us are more aware that we need to help those less fortunate, let’s also open our date books, diaries, and schedulers, then find a day to dedicate ourselves to generosity in a special way. Let’s also thank the Holy Spirit for filling our hearts with appreciation for God’s generous gifts to us and commit to a life of generosity all year long. God wants generosity to be our lifestyle — our “Christyle” — always.
