Day 31

Do you have friendships with new believers? Peter, Paul, and Barnabas remind us that becoming a Christian can be challenging to these new believers. Many of them face rejection, hardship, and ostracization from their former friends and family (1 Peter 4:3-5). So let’s make sure we don’t JUST share the Gospel with them, but let’s ALSO stand by them, check on them, strengthen them, encourage them, and equip them to serve and pass on their faith. “[Barnabas and Paul] preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. Acts 14:21-22”
