Day 17

As much as we want, we cannot live on last week’s provisions. Sooner or later we need to do something to replace the food and water that we have already consumed. Paul knew that this was true in our spiritual life. We may have had a dramatic “born-again” experience, but sooner or later the “honeymoon” wears off and we need to begin to grow in our spiritual life. The goal is to mature in Christ but maturing doesn’t come naturally. Instead, if we are going to grow in Christ, we must decide everyday to be proactive. We must have gret zeal and passionate about our spiritual life. It is this zeal that causes us to pray, meditate and worship. It is this passion following Jesus Christ that raises our spiritual life and resulting in serving Him with no limits. Today, lets make a firm decision not to be lacking zeal in our spiritual life. Decide to do whatever it takes to keep our spiritual fervor, serving Him with all we have. Romans 12:1
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” Romans 12:11
