Day 8

Wherever you find yourself today, know that God is doing a new thing in your life. Isaiah teaches us how to embrace all God is doing. To do this we must forget the former things. Focus on present, and commit to the way God is making for us. Do not allow yourself to be fixated on the way things are, or the way they used to be; do not hold onto bad memories of the past. In order to move forward, you must leave the past behind! Stop looking backwards if you want to move forward! Holding onto bad medical reports, past failures, losses, cruel words, and painful memories creates blocks When you keep playing them over and over again in your mind, they become so amplified that you cannot see beyond them, blinding your vision forward and leaving you in a state of hopelessness.

God wants to realign our hearts, by looking to and trusting in His supremacy and great power.

The Lord promises that He is doing a new thing now; However, In order to receive the promise, we must first see it! So, we have to keep our vision fixed on Him and His promises, Look forward with anticipation to the way out that God is making just for you, and see the rivers flow in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18-19 – “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
