Day 20

Embracing problems is not going to help you, you have to resist problems..!
GOD never puts problems in your life, it is satan who does; to steal the Word of GOD, but, if you stand on the Word in the midst of your problems & keep doing what GOD tells you to do, you will become stronger in faith & patience..
So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
Submitting to God’s authority also brings freedom. It sets order and direction in our everyday lives for those found in Christ. And what is to follow is unimaginable blessing for those who are obedient. For He is the One who ultimately establishes your steps..
Submission to God is itself an act of resistance to the devil..
There is no better illustration of what this looks like than the example of Jesus Himself..
He had to resist the devil in the wilderness. Even though Jesus was God in flesh, he resisted satan by submitting to the will of the Father and quoting Scripture..
For us to think that we can resist the devil in any other way is foolish!..
Satan cannot dwell in the presence of God. So the one who desperately runs to the throne of grace can rest assured that the devil cannot follow him there..
Satan cannot overpower a child of God who is humbly submitting to and actively pursuing Jesus..
The moment we place God first in our lives is the moment that light begins to shine in our hearts again..
Placing God first in your life is a decision that you will never ever regret..
“If you bow low in God’s awesome presence, He will eventually exalt you as you leave the timing in His hands. Pour out all your worries and stress upon Him and leave them there, for He always tenderly cares for you. Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour. Take a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack with strong, vigorous faith……….” (1 Peter 5:6-9)
