Day 10

Whatever you keep in your heart will determine the course of your life..
You cannot hold the “wrong attitude” in your heart & live right..
Nor can you have the RIGHT attitude in your heart & live wrong..
Our attitude is extremely important, and it’s one of the first things people notice when they come face to face with us..
Attitude is how we approach others with our outlook on life, our behavior, our life style, our feelings, and our way of thinking. If we’re not careful, we can let the world’s influence affect our mindset and slip into a wrong way of thinking..
Guarding our minds against attacks from the devil and keeping Jesus first and foremost in our spiritual vision helps us to maintain a godly attitude..
A godly attitude means putting an end to the works of the flesh, resisting the negativity and bitterness of this world, and reaching out in God’s love..
We must use the Word of God as our measurement and help when we want to determine whether or not our attitude is on target..
The moment we think we’re above everyone else is the moment we slip into self-centeredness.. Humility is an attitude so important to God, He repeats it multiple times for emphasis..
Deliberately embracing a godly attitude which might be unpopular with many, is what makes us stand out from the world..
The right attitude opens the door to God’s blessings..
A godly attitude is the beginning to effective relationships!..
It all comes from Christ’s work in us..
Jesus maintained a perfect attitude in every situation because He prayed about everything and worried about nothing..
Jesus’ attitude was never to become defensive, discouraged, or depressed because His goal was to please the Father rather than to achieve His own agenda..
In the midst of trials, He was patient. In the midst of suffering, He was hopeful. In the midst of blessing, He was humble..
A Christ-like attitude will also help us deal effectively with problems..
We can either let bad situations control us or we can allow ourselves to learn and grow from them. We can either be led by the Spirit in our attitude, or be controlled by the bad attitudes of others which are the reflection of satan..
We have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past…we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can change is our attitude..
Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond to it.. We are in charge of our attitudes..
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8)
