Day 18

Let prayer rule over your doubts & fears, because, prayer is the link that connects our every circumstance to our Creator..‎
Praying is a wonderful way to communicate with God, and just as with any relationship, constant communication breeds closeness, intimacy, and comfort..
Prayer isn’t just about asking God for things you need or desire. It’s about establishing a relationship with Him built on faith and trust in Him. God knows the desires of your heart long before you even think to ask, but He still loves to hear from you—whether you’re asking for guidance or giving thanks—because it draws you closer to Him..
– God’s Word Calls Us To Pray.
“This, then, is how you should pray …” (Matthew 6:9-13)
– Jesus Prayed Regularly.
Very early the next morning before daylight, Jesus got up and went to a place where He could be alone and pray. (Mark 1:35)
– Prayer Is How We Communicate with God.
Prayer allows us to worship and praise the Lord. It also allows us to offer genuine repentance for our sins and receive mercy. (Psalm 150:6), (Hebrews 4:15-16)
– Prayer Gives Us Power Over Evil.
Can physical strength help us overcome obstacles and challenges in the spiritual realm? No, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12). But in prayer even the physically weak are strong in the spiritual realm.
“Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live……” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
