Jesus made this one thing very clear: We are stewards in this world. None of what we have is our own, not even ourselves, and we are not here on our own business..
We are managers and ambassadors of the possessions and affairs of another Person, a King who owns everything. We are here on His business, with a mission to share His character and blessings with the world..
Any wealth, power, or strength we have originated with God. Any gift or talent we have – the same is true..
God has entrusted us with certain resources, gifts and abilities. Our responsibility is to live by that trust by managing these things well, according to His design and desire..
When we succeed it is for HIS glory – wealth, power, or strength we have, originated with God, including any gift, or talent we possess; even our ability to give generously, comes from God..
God wants you to do what He has called you to do, and He wants you to do it out of His ability..
“Remember the LORD your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant He confirmed to your ancestors with an oath.…..”(Deuteronomy 8:18)
